The governments of Canada and Saskatchewan have agreed to settlements in the Île-à-la-Crosse School class action.
A judge will review each settlement to determine whether it is fair, reasonable, and in the best interests of Survivors and their families. The court hearing will take place March 30-31, 2026, in Saskatoon, with options to attend in person or online. No compensation will be available unless the judge approves one or both settlements.
